More than 10 years ago the story of Extra Diver’s success started with the opening of the first Extra Divers Dive Center located at the Red Sea. The founder and chairman of the company Walter Harscher recognized the gap between professional organized Tourism and customer-orientated Diving activities.

This Idea and the fulfilment of the concept of save diving combined with the best of hospitality soon proofed to be the right approach. Cooperating with handpicked tour operators, hotels and air lines, which all stand for a perfect price-performance ratio, led to positive feedback and satisfied guests. Extradivers’ image grew among divers.

The individual and friendly service at the diving sites is our main goal for 10 years by now. The combination of booking through our travel agencies Reisecenter Federsee or Extratours and the post-care, made possible by the Extra Divers Membercard, set up the frame for best customer satisfaction.

In 2001 Extradivers for the first time created the combination of hotel and diving centre “made for divers, by divers” on Nabucco Island/Indeonesia. A successful name was born and the concept was continued. There are new Nabucco Resorts on Tobago, Myanmar in Oman and a second one in Indonesia. The newly introduced full service, consisting of Hotel- and Diveservice at the best diving spots of the world, exquisite cuisine and appealing, ecological built bungalows is still highly appreciated by our customers.
